Moving to the Netherlands - Finding Accommodation

It is not easy to find accommodation in the Netherlands. Affordable housing is in particularly short supply in the Randstad (the western conurbation that lies between the major cities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht). It can also be hard to find (cheap) accommodation in university cities such as Leiden and Groningen.

The national property search website, Funda contains a wealth of information. In addition, De Telegraaf, a national daily newspaper, has a special housing section on Wednesdays and carries many small ads.
